When I Think of YouWhen I think of you I see your beautiful face.
I see your eyes shining rays of encouragement,
windowing pride in who we have become,
reflecting the same deep tender love I have
for you, back to me.
I see your smile saying, I’m so glad to see you,
asking, may I hold you, may I help you?
I see your satin hair caressing your face,
framing your countenance, expressing
freedom to fly at any time. I see your soft lips
so perfectly formed, so carefully adorned,
and so seductively inviting.
When I think of you I see the utopian symmetry
of your body. I see a perfect sculpture of curves,
from your shoulders and breasts, through your
waist, hips and thighs. I see a body full of life,
full of love, statuesque and graceful by day,
deeply sensual and freely giving by night.
When I think of you I see your resolve to love me
unconditionally. My imperfections no longer
matter, your love has erased their presence.
When I think of you I hear your voice. It is the
sound of a quiet wind rustling aspens by a
spring brook, joyous songbirds in the distance,
stringed instruments playing the perfect
symphony, lovers breathing pleasure
into one another.
When I think of you I sense every part of your
being. Every part of you challenges me and
arouses me, your heart, mind, spirit and soul
devour me, you have become me and I have
become you, we are passionately one,
lacking in nothing.
When I think of you I offer a prayer of
thanksgiving. Every cell of my being cries
thank you Lord, for you are my greatest
treasure, you are my soulmate forever.
