Special Gifts


Every now and then a special gift, quite unexpectedly,
comes our way. What it will be or how long it will
last is known only to God, the granter.

It may be a feeling of exultation or deep peace, a new
friend or vocation, the discovery of a unique
talent or exciting hobby.

Special gifts would likely come more frequently
if we could see our lives through God's eyes.  

From His view, we would see the need for a shift in
our priorities and a focus on two important
virtues . . . patience and trust.

Instead of bailing water from our sinking ship,
we could be enjoying more special gifts.

So right your ship, Captain!
Practice patience.
Learn trust.

God has been wanting to bestow
