The Poetry of Miles Athey
Letter Home

Here's a short letter. I've not much to tell. I hope all is peaceful and everyone well.
The war is still raging, getting bigger every day. I've seen no real action, so I am okay.
We're safe where I am, no danger to us, the Cong are up north, so no need to fuss.
I hear all is great at college and home, I’m anxious for a furlow to talk with everyone.
Time to stop writing. They've called an alert. Say "hi" to all my friends, especial . . . . . . . .
